Description

Ruby has baked a cake for her friend's wedding and sees this as her big opportunity to prove herself. The only issue is the wedding is out of town and Ruby's car has broken down. Ruby, along with her aloof partner Tom, attempt to get a ride from her father who, following an interrogative interaction, provides no help whatsoever. Ruby and Tom decide it'll be best to get a lift with their friends, but through a miscommunication, discover their friends aren’t actually going to the wedding at all. Luckily the two are able to borrow a car and they arrive at the wedding only to realise... they're two hours late and have missed the wedding completely. As tension between the two mount, they discuss the state of their lives and what matters to them. As they reach an understanding and rejoin the party, a jilted lover confronts the groom and stabs him in the eye with a fork. Ruby and Tom escape the chaos and will hopefully find their way home…
